  • To identify the need for Clinical Supervision in Nursing, recognising its advantages for the professional development of nurses and Nursing;
  • To supervise nursing students, newly graduate nurses and nurses, constituting as part of a strategy for the promotion of the quality of nursing professional practice and, consequently, the quality of care;
  • To develop competences in the research and development of clinical supervision in nursing as an added value to support the practice and development of the discipline.
