NursingGames

Empowering professionals, individuals, and family caregivers using recreational strategies

Over the last decade, the development of games in health has rapidly evolved. Games allow the user to have an active role compared to other approaches, and act as a motivation, where learnings are expected to last beyond the game itself. These resources can be used for a variety of purposes, such as teaching, health education, health promotion, and disease management in different populations and contexts.

The main objective of the NursingGames project is to use games to contribute to a facilitating process of empowering people, family caregivers, professionals, and students.

NursingGames consists of 3 subprojects:

  1. Nursing Game SelfCare – Promote self-care through recreational strategies
  2. Nursing Game Family Caregivers – Empowerment of family caregivers through recreational strategies
