Post-graduate course in Occupational Nursing

The Postgraduate Course in Occupational Nursing aims to provide nurses with the added skills in Occupational Nursing (Regulation no. 372/2018 of the Portuguese Order of Nurses, thus providing a reference for the development of effective and quality training to meet the needs of professionals imposed by the different professional environments.

This course is accredited by the Portuguese Order of Nurses for professional qualification purposes. 

Learning outcomes

• To develop nurses’ competencies in care management for workers or groups of workers in different work/occupational environments, ensuring preventive care and complying with the ethical and deontological principles required for nursing;
• To provide nurses with the knowledge and skills to help professionals design occupational health projects at their workplaces.
