Master in Medical-Surgical Critical Care Nursing

Master in Medical-Surgical Critical Care Nursing

The Master’s Degree in Medical-Surgical Critical Care Nursing is part of the ESEP’s post-graduate training policy, within the framework of a strategy aligned with its statutory mission. The course is based on the articulation between research, teaching and providing a response to the population’s health needs.

This master’s degree is part of the ESEP’s post-graduate training offer, with a strong orientation towards the development of advanced skills, predominantly clinical in nature, with a focus on human responses to health problems and life processes associated with “critical situations”, with a focus on making evident the contribution of nursing care to health gains for the population.

This course, respecting the core of the ESEP’s educational and scientific project, meets, among other aspects, the requirements and principles of analysis of the specialised training in Nursing of the Nursing Order (NO), namely in what concerns the possibility of later attribution of the professional title of Specialist Nurse to the holders of the Master’s Degree in Medical-Surgical Critical Care Nursing.
